Partnership Buys 70-Year Old Tarrytown Shopping Center
A partnership between Ivy Cos. and 35 South Capital purchased Tarrytown’s Casis Village in Austin. The 48,500-square-foot retail center was sold by the Bryant family, which had owned the property since they first built it in 1952. It’s anchored by a Randalls supermarket. Casis Village is fully leased.
The Austin Business Journal reports the new owners plan to make renovations to the property’s facade, landscaping and common areas.
35 South Capital was founded in 2021, and its portfolio includes office and retail properties in Houston and West Lake Hills, including the 24,130-square-foot West Lake Hills Plaza at 3811 Bee Caves Road.
Ivy — a real estate investment firm focused on residential, retail, office and hotel properties — was founded in 2022. In addition to Casis Village, Ivy’s portfolio includes a 5.8-acre tract at 600 Kemp Street in East Austin and a retail property in Denver.
