Partners Platting Industrial Park Near IAH

Partners Capital has acquired 153 acres near Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) for an industrial park.

The company bought the land at the southeast corner of FM 1960 and Aldine Westfield Road and hopes to break ground on the $12 million project by September 2025. The land, just northwest of Intercontinental Airport, is one of the few remaining developable tracts in that area.

The Houston Business Journal reports the plan is to sell different tracts to speculative developers or end users. With 120 developable acres, that could mean about 1.5 million square feet of industrial space and anywhere from two to seven users.

Partners is already in talks with two potential buyers, a spec developer and a user.

CBRE says vacancy in the submarket was 5.1% in the third quarter, significantly lower than the Houston average of 6.2%.
