Partners Enter El Paso, Snag 2M SF of Industrial Space

The joint venture team of Equity Industrial Partners and Raith Capital Partners entered the El Paso market with its buy of two industrial portfolios totaling just over 1.9 million square feet. The partners now own the 1.7-million-square-foot IDI Logistic Portfolio and the 213,730-square-foot Hanson portfolio.

The IDI Logistics portfolio includes 17 buildings in El Paso and three in Santa Teresa, NM; occupancy was 96.4%. The Hanson portfolio consists of two industrial buildings, one of which was a spec building that came to market in late 2019.

“With these strategic acquisitions, the partnered buyers were able to enter the El Paso market with a substantial position, becoming the fourth largest institutional owner in the market,” said CBRE’s William Caparis, who with colleagues Andrés Sandoval and Jonathan Bryan, represented IDI Logistics.

Arturo De la Mora, also with CBRE, represented Russell Hanson. CBRE has been retained to lease both properties.
