Parnassus Investments Renews Lease at One Market Plaza
The struggling San Francisco office sector received some good news as Parnassus Investments has signed a 25,500-square-foot lease renewal and expansion at One Market Plaza. Transwestern Real Estate Services Senior VP Gabe Chao represented Parnassus Investments in the transaction.
“Interest in Parnassus’s investment offerings has grown, and this expansion will allow our team to continue to support our valued clients,” said the firm’s COO Marc Mahon. “Our space at One Market Plaza provides an excellent environment for our team to maintain an optimal work environment, focused on collaboration and communication.”
One Market Plaza consists of 1.6 million square feet of Class A office space, featuring two high-rise towers on top of a six-story, large floorplate podium and a two-story subterranean parking garage. Building ownership, Paramount Group, was represented by JLL’s Ted Davies in the lease negotiations. Parnassus’ lease consists of an 18,000-square-foot renewal in the Steuart Tower plus a 7,500-square-foot expansion.
