Parking Lot Expansion to Support USAA Growth

Construction is underway on One Riverwalk Plaza’s parking deck expansion. The project will be completed by summer 2019, and will add 192 parking spaces to the downtown San Antonio building, owned by USAA. The expansion will increase the number of spaces to 568.

The $5.9-million, six-story addition, at 400 N. St. Mary’s St., will include a new elevator and direct access to the River Walk. The new spaces are being added to support the 2,000 jobs that USAA is moving downtown, both to One Riverwalk and to the Bank of America Plaza on Convent Street, which the company acquired in August 2017.

Sundt Construction Inc. is the general contractor. Marmon Mok Architecture is the architect of record.
