Panera Bread will open an urban flagship store on the ground floor of the Hearst Tower in Midtown Manhattan

Panera Bread Will Open Flagship Store at Hearst Tower

Cushman & Wakefield arranged a long-term, 2,510-square-foot lease for Panera Bread at Hearst Tower located at 949 Eighth Ave. on the corner of 56th Street. The bakery and fast casual chain will occupy a flagship location on the office tower’s ground floor.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Sean Moran, Steven Soutendijk and Patrick O’Rourke represented the landlord, Hearst, in the transaction alongside Lou Nowikas, who handled negotiations in-house. RIPCO Real Estate’s Andrew Mandell and Sam Martorella represented Panera.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Panera to Hearst Tower,” said Nowikas. “Panera will utilize this space as its urban flagship store. We are confident that Panera will benefit from the ideal location and best-in-class tenant experience that Hearst provides.”
