Panda Express Continues East Texas March

Panda Express is planting another flag in East Texas, with its construction of space at 1201 N. Kilgore St. in Kilgore, TX. Panda Express restaurants are open and operational in Longview and Tyler, TX. The 2,600-square-foot Kilgore restaurant is scheduled to open in late 2017.

According to a spokeswoman with the California-based Panda Express, locations are selected based on a good population base and regional retail draw. Other retail businesses within the location include local restaurants and retailers (East Texas Hardware, Restaurante El Trebol) and national retail chains, such as O’Reilly Auto Parts, Pizza Hut and Taco Bueno. The company plans to hire 20-25 employees at the restaurant.
