Palo Alto Getting Serious Luxury Hotel

It looks like Palo Alto will get a hotel where visitors will have to dish out $900 per night for a room.

The Clement Palo Alto is scheduled to open in the fall. With only 23 rooms, it will pamper guests with plush beds, 650-square-foot suites, personal assistants, all-inclusive meals and other amenities.

The hotel is being developed by Pacific Hotel Management. The firm also owns the Sheraton Palo Alto and the Westin Palo Alto. Clement Palo Alto will be across the street from those facilities and is in the former Palo Alto Animal Hospital. Pacific started building the new hotel last August.
