Palm Springs MXU Development Progresses

Grit Development is under construction on a downtown revitalization project in Palm Springs, CA that features 153 hotel rooms, eight restaurants, 80,000 square feet of retail and 30,000 square feet of office. The pedestrian-friendly, open-air mixed-use center is located at 201 N. Palm Canyon Dr., and is on track to deliver in November 2017.

Grit Development’s Michael Braun said, “After over a decade of planning and hard work, we’re thrilled to share the project’s near completion and line-up of tenants to date. Dozens of tenants will open this summer, with the Kimpton Rowan Hotel officially opening to the public in September.”

West Elm opened as the project’s first retailer in 2016, followed by Blaze Pizza earlier this spring. New tenants signed on to join the mix include H&M, Free People, francesca’s, Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Bar, Starbuck’s Reserve, Stout Burgers & Beers and Il corso.
