Pair of Fresh Leases Pushes Charles C. Blanton Building in DC to 100% Occupancy
Edge has brokered two leases within The Charles C. Blanton Building to elevate the seven-story, 100,000-square-foot office property in Alexandria, VA to 100% occupancy. The property on Washington Street is owned by 5 Star Financial, LLC.
Oxygen Forensics, Inc. signed a lease for 7,839 square feet of space and 473 Group leased 3,019 square feet of space. Scott Rabin and Todd McManus represented the landlord in both transactions. Cole Spaulding of Newmark represented Oxygen Forensics.
The 1989-constructed building is minutes from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and the downtown DC business district, and within walking distance to numerous restaurants and hotels. The Braddock Road transit stop is positioned less than one mile from the site.
Edge currently leases and manages more than 8.5 million square feet of commercial office, flex/office, industrial/warehouse, retail and mixed-use space throughout DC, MD, Northern VA and PA.
