Page Extends Lease at Mercantile National Bank Building

Global architecture and engineering firm Page stayed put in Dallas’ Mercantile National Bank Building, inking a seven-year deal to remain at 1800 Main St. in the CBD. Matt Heidelbaugh, SIOR and Billy Gannon with Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.

Page took the space in 2011, and transformed the bank’s former lobby into an open, three-story office space. At the time, the project represented the largest adaptive undertaking in downtown Dallas in more than a decade. Page decided to remain in its current space because of area’s energy, amenities and ability to attract employees.

The building owner is listed as FC Merc Complex LP, an entity of Forest City Realty Trust. Brookfield Asset Management acquired Forest City in late 2018.

“Since moving to Main Street eight years ago, we have seen a tremendous change in the energy in downtown Dallas, with more people living, working, playing and staying downtown,” said Page’s Mattia Flabiano.
