Packaging Firm Signs for Regional Office in Arlington Hts.

An 18,595-square-foot office lease has been signed at 3930 Ventura Blvd., a 57,000-square-foot single-story office building in Arlington Heights, IL. Building ownership Pal Group Inc. was represented in the transaction by JBS Commercial Real Estate’s Jason Shibata and Brian Silverman.

The tenant, Sonoco Protective Solutions, which provides packaging solutions to protect products in the automotive, electronics, appliances, medical and office furniture sectors, among others, completed the lease for a regional sales and administrative office. Avison Young represented Sonoco, which found the Arlington Heights property attractive because of its central location, with accessibility to a strong labor market, amenities and major thoroughfares.

“It is a unique time in the market,” said Shibata. “This lease demonstrates that a conveniently located office building, with convenient highway access and close proximity to amenities can attract and maintain good quality tenants in spite of things like the pandemic and other factors.”
