Pacific Industrial Picks Up Costa Mesa Property for $33M

Pacific Industrial acquired a 157,204 square-foot, two-building industrial property situated immediately adjacent to John Wayne Airport in Costa Mesa, CA from 3030 & 3080 Airway LLC for roughly $33 million. The asset at 3030 and 3080 Airway was purchased with one of Pacific Industrial’s key institutional partners, a private equity fund advised by Crow Holdings Capital.

Pacific Industrial’s Dan Floriani says, “This investment is perfectly aligned with our company’s ongoing strategy to acquire irreplaceable assets in exceptionally well-located pockets that will attract a wide variety of users.”

One of the buildings is home to the U.S. headquarters of RipCurl, a major Australian designer, manufacturer, and retailer of surfing sportswear. The second building was recently vacated by Karma, offering the opportunity to complete a renovation and repositioning of it in the market.

Voit Real Estate Services’ Trent Walker and Carl Johnson represented Pacific Industrial as the buyer in the off-market acquisition.
