Oxnard Retail Center Trades in $95M Neighborhood
Esplanade Shopping Center, a 488,867-square-foot regional shopping center located in Oxnard, CA, has been sold in a deal industry sources say closed in the neighborhood of $95 million. The seller was New York-based Brixmor Property Group, while the buyer was G&I IX Esplanade Property L.P.
The 92.3%-occupied center is located at 195 W. Esplanade Dr. and offers a curated mix of best-in-class retailers including Nordstrom Rack, Walmart Neighborhood Market, TJ Maxx, Staples, Dicks Sporting Goods, Cost Plus and Home Depot (NAP).
NKF Capital Markets’ Bill Bauman, Kyle Miller and Matthew Schwartz represented the seller. NKF’s David Milestone and Brett Green represented the buyer in securing financing.
Miller says, “The majority of the tenants in the center are the top operators in their respective categories. The strong sales reported by the retailers and restaurants validate the strength and attraction of the location and trade area.”
