Oxford, Colliers, Cerris Announce Changes
- Oxford Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Derek Savage as Executive Vice President. Before joining Oxford, Derek joined a REIT, where he played a key role in leasing a portfolio encompassing over 2 million square feet across 30 properties. In his new role at Oxford Partners, Derek will leverage his extensive industry knowledge and experience to support the firm’s growth and service clients in other Texas markets, as well as the Austin office.
- Jack Parsons joins Colliers in Houston as a Senior Associate focusing on Occupier Services. He comes to Colliers from OldCap Property Group, where he represented commercial real estate users. Prior to OldCap Property Group, Jack worked at Finial Group, focusing on office and industrial tenant and landlord representation.
- MW Builders, MMC Contractors and BCS – are uniting under the new brand name, Cerris. With 14 offices nationwide, including Dallas and numerous projects in the DFW area, the company will continue to specialize in preconstruction, design-build, general construction and construction management.
- Newmark announces the sale of One & Two Westway, a 15-acre campus with 193,854 square feet of office space along the Sam Houston Tollway in West Houston. The campus is located at the intersection of the Sam Houston Tollway and Clay Road, between Interstate I-10 and U.S. 290. The portfolio is 95% leased to four major tenants in healthcare, education, energy and homebuilding.
- First Continental, a leading Houston-based lending company that specializes in residential lot acquisition and development financing, closed on its largest loan ever in its 30-year history, a $41.8 million loan in Texas for Johnson Development Services (JDS), a residential and commercial land development company, to develop a master-planned community in Hockley, Texas.
