Oxbow receives OK for The Grove Hotel in SA.

Oxbow Closer to Building 151-Unit San Antonio Hotel

Oxbow Development Group’s new hotel project has passed muster with a San Antonio planning board. The approval brings Silver Ventures’ real estate arm closer to building an eight-story, 151-room hotel north of the Pearl development. The San Antonio Business Journal reports the firm recently indicated that it’s targeting start of construction in late 2024. Oxbow expects construction to finish in 2026. THREE is the project architect.

Oxbow is currently working with “Grove Hotel” as the working name for the proposed hotel. Oxbow’s indicated that the building would be constructed using brick that would match the Pearl’s look and mass timber.

The company had another project recently approved. It would add approximately 250 multifamily units to the Tobin Hill neighborhood. It would create opportunities for office, retail, food and beverage uses and more than 200 public parking spaces.
