Overton Moore Properties Breaks Ground on 1.25M-SF Avion Burbank

Los Angeles-based Overton Moore Properties (OMP) commenced construction on Avion Burbank, an 18-building, 1.25-million-square-foot mixed-use development near the Burbank Hollywood Airport. The plan calls for creative industrial, creative office, and retail space along with a 150-room hotel on 60 acres at the intersection of Hollywood Way and San Fernando Road.

The project is a JV between OMP and Invesco Real Estate. OMP purchased the property in 2016 and received approvals from the Burbank City Council earlier this year.

OMP’s Timur Tecimer says, “Avion Burbank will offer users a unique environment that incorporates state-of-the-art buildings situated in an interactive work-life environment. This innovative campus will also boast multiple outdoor amenities that will assist companies in recruiting and retaining the best talent.”

The developer says the project is the San Fernando Valley’s largest infill development during the past 20 years.

CBRE’s Matt Hargrove is handling the office and industrial leasing assignment.
