Overton Moore Commences Phase II of Pacific Commons South in Fremont
Overton Moore Properties (OMP) commenced construction on Phase II of Pacific Commons South in Fremont. Phase I of construction is complete with the first buildings slated to open fall 2020. The 1.7-million-square-foot advanced manufacturing and warehouse development is located at Cushing Parkway, Christy Street and Bunche Drive.
The Los Angeles-based developer also selected ChargePoint to install more than 275 chargers across the project’s 10 free-standing buildings. It one of the largest individual installations of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations ever at a Bay Area speculative project.
OMP’s Timur Tecimer says, “Installing the EV chargers is meeting the demand from our customers and more importantly our small contribution to create sustainability through development.”
CBRE’s Rob Shannon, Chip Sutherland and Robert Ferraro are handling the leasing assignment. Shannon says, “OMP is a forward-thinking developer who is anticipating not just the current needs of industrial users but what will be important to tenants in the years ahead.”
