Outback Steakhouse Joins New San Marcos MXU

Construction commenced on a new Outback Steakhouse restaurant at Corner @ 2Oaks, a new Class A, mixed-use project in San Marcos, CA. Outback fully leased a 6,500-square-foot building situated on the main hard corner pad location of the project, and plans to open in December.

Corner @ 2Oaks is jointly owned and under development by Sea Breeze Properties, LLC and The McDonald Group. Cushman & Wakefield’s Bruce Schiff represented the landlord in the lease with Outback.

Schiff said, “Corner @ 2Oaks presents a desirable and highly visible location for Outback, in a brand new development positioned at one of the city’s most-high profile corners, and which has immediate access to Highway 78.”

The multi-building, multi-phase project is located at Twin Oaks Valley Rd. and San Marcos Blvd. across the street from San Marcos Civic Center, Library and Sprinter Train Station. Development plans also include another two-story, 14,400-square-foot commercial building.
