Otay Mesa Getting Murphy Development Industrial Spec

San Diego-based Murphy Development is bringing a new project to Otay Mesa.

The 121,970-square-foot property, called Building 18, is located in the 2.1-million-square-foot Siempre Viva Business Park at 2600 Melskee Street.

The new building will feature 32-foot height clearances, concrete truck courts, high dock door ratios, and significant electric power capabilities.

Andy Irwin, senior vice president at Murphy Development, said the time is right for new spec development in the Otay Mesa area, due to historically low vacancy rates. The company has an additional spec industrial development planned for Siempre Viva Business Park once this current project is completed.
