Orso to Head Cap Markets Strategies at NKF

Real estate finance powerhouse Anthony Orso is moving from one Cantor Fitzgerald affiliate to another, as he assumes the presidency of NKF Capital Markets’ capital markets strategies platform. Orso was co-founder and CEO of CCRE, the commercial lending arm of Cantor.

Orso has completed more than $250 billion in commercial real estate financings over the course of his career. In his new role, he will support the integration of Berkeley Point Capital with ARA, two companies recently acquired by NKF Capital Markets, an affiliate of Newmark Group.

Additionally, Orso will act as NKF Capital Markets’ liaison with Cantor Fitzgerald’s CMBS business, while advising the company on its strategic approach to its third-party debt business. “With his depth of experience in the commercial debt market, Anthony will bring an additional dimension to our already substantial mortgage brokerage and lending activities,” said Barry Gosin, CEO of Newmark Group.
