Waterford Adds Fresh Talent for Real Estate Portfolio
Waterford Property Company is adding a Southern California real estate industry veteran to assist its growing portfolio and holdings.
Oren Hillel is Waterford’s new director of development. Hillel was most recently with Greystar, one of the largest international real estate developers and managers, according to a news release. Greystar has more than $50 billion in assets under management.
Hillel is also, notably, a dual graduate, earning degrees both at USC, as well as UCLA (which school colors he wears on weekends is unknown to Connect CRE at this point).
In his role with Waterford, Hillel will oversee the company’s real estate development strategies, focused on spearheading ground-up development projects, both market-rate and affordable housing, according to that same news release.
Responsibilities will include identifying and securing development sites, working together with municipalities for all project approvals, leading design and permitting, as well as overseeing construction execution.
