Oracle’s Austin headquarters campus already encompasses over one million square feet. The company has put out the word that it now wants to build another 287,000 square foot adjacent building. The Austin Business Journal says the company is also looking to build a 255-room hotel. Oracle has to receive a number of governmental approvals before it can proceed.

The company opened the campus in 2018 and designated it as corporate headquarters in 2020. Oracle has an estimated 2,800 employees in the city.

The tract where the expansion and hotel is being planned is home to the former Town Lake Village Condos, which Oracle bought in 2021 for a reported $43 million-plus and secured approval to demolish last year.
