Opus Launches Spec Build at St. Louis Redevelopment

The Opus Group has launched construction on a speculative Class A industrial development at Soulard Business Park in St. Louis. Construction on the 155,000-square-foot warehouse building is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2020.

“We are expecting to see interest from local, regional and national businesses looking to take advantage of this urban infill location and its close proximity to four major interstates,” said Ryan Carlie, director, real estate development, at Opus. “We look forward to being part of the redevelopment effort, and help bring this environmentally impacted site back into use within the community.”

Soulard Business Park is a master redevelopment project, led by Environment Operations Inc., of a former manufacturing facility in the Soulard micro market within the city of St. Louis. The entire park has been approved for property tax abatement.

JLL’s Patrick Reilly and David Branding are marketing the project for lease.
