Oprah Favorite Bartesian Expands with Fulton Market Relocation

Cocktail machine manufacturer Bartesian, whose fans include Oprah Winfrey, is relocating its headquarters to 10,000 square feet at 452 N. Sangamon St. in the Fulton Market District. The new space will be five times the size of its current headquarters at 303 W. Erie St. In River North.

“Bartesian is extremely proud to call Chicago home and we’re honored to put down deeper roots here,” said Ryan Close, founder and CEO of Bartesian. “Last year was a record year for Bartesian and with dozens of new products and additional retail partnerships planned, this year is shaping up to be even bigger.”

The newly redeveloped barrel truss building features rustic timber beams, brick and iron throughout and a main floor with expansive open spaces and 16-foot ceilings. Bartesian plans to transform the property’s lower level into a private, invite-only speakeasy bar that will debut its cocktail recipes.
