Operation Christmas Child Finds Home in Baltimore

Samaritan’s Purse has purchased an 82,000-square-foot flex/office and warehouse space located at 7210 Ambassador Road in Baltimore County for $10.5 million from GPT Properties Trust.

The property will be used for receiving, processing, and shipping shoebox gifts to children in need as part of Operation Christmas Child. This initiative, which started in 1993, sends millions of holiday gift packages to children around the world. Samaritan’s Purse has been leasing space in Columbia and Baltimore City for its holiday operations in recent years and plans to make this new location a permanent home for its program. The property features a 16-foot ceiling height, multiple future dock positions, and ample parking.

Ned Brady and Eric Skogmo of Lee & Associates represented the buyer and David Dannenfelser and John Boote of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in this sales transaction.
