OpenAI-Backed Startup Doubles NYC Footprint in Flatiron District
San Francisco-based generative artificial intelligence firm Harvey has doubled its space at Columbia Property Trust’s 315 Park Ave. South, a 20-story office building located in Midtown South’s Flatiron District. Backed by OpenAI, Sequoia Capital, Kleiner Perkins and Google Ventures, Harvey established its New York City office with a full-floor lease of 17,050 square feet earlier this summer and now occupies 34,100 square feet.
“”Harvey’s decision to quickly double its presence is a testament to their continued success as well as to 315 Park Ave. South’s ability to attract cutting-edge firms to a world-class working environment in one of New York City’s most vibrant neighborhoods,” said Columbia Property Trust’s head of real estate, Ted Koltis.
Columbia Property Trust was represented in-house by Koltis and Maria Blake, and by a Newmark team of David Falk, Peter T. Shimkin and Jonathan Fanuzzi. Harvey was represented by JLL’s Todd Stracci, Hugh Scott and Jack Nelson.
