OPEN Secures 50K-SF Extension for Catholic Guardian Services

OPEN Impact Real Estate recently facilitated a 50,000-square-foot extension for Catholic Guardian Services in the Bronx. As one of New York’s human services agencies, Catholic Guardian offers a range of programs, including child welfare, mental health services, and support for unaccompanied children, aiding over 1,500 clients and families in the Bronx.

The two-part transaction involved a 10-year lease extension for the East Bronx Program Hub at 1990 Westchester Avenue and a 5-year extension for the Central Bronx Program and Administrative Hub at 1780 Grand Concourse. These extensions, providing 25,000 square feet each, will cater to client-facing programs.

Stephen Powers, Lindsay Ornstein, Jake Cinti and Julia Fish of OPEN worked closely with Craig Longley, CEO of Catholic Guardian, to establish both leases. Christopher Betting and Dean Rosenzweig of CBRE represented the landlord in the transaction at 1990 Westchester Avenue; OPEN represented both the landlord and the tenant in the transaction at 1780 Grand Concourse.
