Open for Business: 85 Acres in San Marcos
Walton International, a Canadian company with a presence in Austin and Dallas, has opened its 85-acre property, dubbed Centerpark San Marcos, for business. The master-planned business park, south of the Amazon distribution center at 1401 E. McCarty, near Interstate 35 in San Marcos, TX, has the potential to expand by an additional 410 acres, and could hold up to 240,000 square feet of Class A office space, and 2.3 million square feet of distribution space.
The development team includes Ware Malcomb (designer), Ryan Cos. (construction) and Avison Young’s San Antonio office. Marshall Davidson, Tate Hinkelman, and Enny Nguyen with Avison Young are handling the marketing and leasing.
Development will be based on pre-leasing, according to local reports.
