Open Door Restructures, Extends at Watson’s Chino Facility

Open Door Packaging, Inc. signed a long-term lease renewal for its 125,000-square-foot warehouse distribution and office facility at 6911 Bickmore Avenue in Chino, CA. The Class A industrial building is part of Watson Commerce Center, a 3.6-million-square-foot complex owned by Watson Land Company. The five-year transaction is valued at more than $4 million.

The property serves as Open Door’s distribution and administrative center for its full-service hair care packaging, formulation, and warehousing/fulfillment solutions. The company has been located at the facility since 2013.

“The early lease restructure and extension provided an opportunity for our client to remain in a facility and location that worked well for its business and customers. The ownership retained a great tenant and Open Door received financial concessions toward upgrading their space and improving operational efficiencies,” said Savills Studley’s Joe Jones, who represented the tenant, along with colleagues Jeff Cannon and Andrew Morrow.
