Onyx and Garrison Buys Again at 61 South Paramus Rd.

Onyx Equities has partnered with Garrison Investment Group to buy a leasehold interest in a 285,000-square-foot office building at 61 South Paramus Rd. in Paramus, NJ, from Mack-Cali Realty Corporation.

“61 South Paramus has the potential to be one of Bergen County’s best intuitional office buildings. It currently houses significant corporate operations, and is situated in one of the most highly sought-after office locations,” said Stephen Sullivan, chief investment officer at Onyx Equities.

The deal adds to the properties Onyx and Garrison bought earlier this year. The partners now own a portfolio of six buildings in Paramus and Rochelle Park, NJ, along the desirable Garden State Parkway corridor.

Cole Schotz P.C. and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy represented the buyer in the transaction. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler’s Jose Cruz, Kevin O’Hearn, Michael Oliver, Stephen Simonelli and Marc Duval represented the seller, Mack-Cali Realty Corporation.
