Ontario Offers Direct Flights to O’Hare
American Airlines will offer nonstop air service from Ontario International Airport to Chicago during summer, 2017. The move represents the first time that Ontario will offer direct flights into Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport in roughly 15 years.
The red-eye flight service will begin July 5 and run through August 21, with introductory main cabin fares as low as $127 one-way. The service is expected to meet growing demand for air travel at Ontario, while demonstrating the market’s strength.
Ontario International Airport Authority’s Kelly J. Fredericks said, “These new flights will help provide the needed seat capacity to meet the peak summer demand,” noting it is Ontario’s busiest months of the year.
Southwest Airlines services the Chicago market via Midway International Airport.
