Onni’s 60-Story DTLA Tower Set for Planning Commission Review
The latest plan for Onni Group’s proposed 60-story Olympic + Hill development is slated to undergo Los Angeles City Planning Commission review. The site in DTLA at Olympic Boulevard and Hill Street is envisioned to house 700 apartments on top of a podium structure with 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and 1,075 parking spaces.
City documents indicate the project at 1000 South Hill St. will deliver a mix of studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments, as well as four sub-penthouse units and one penthouse unit. A 52,000-square-foot of amenity deck is planned on the fifth level of the tower with an open pool deck.
The tower, designed by Chris Dikeakos Architects, is set to rise 760 feet in height. The design calls for a four-story podium to be wrapped with residential units on two street frontages in an effort to mask above-grade parking levels.
