Online Vender to Open Permanent Storefront
Meet the successful online retailer that has turned itself into a regular, brick-and-mortar store. LoveThyBeast sells its “pet swag” online, and at major retailer stores like West Elm and Urban Outfitters.
Now, LoveThyBeast has signed a 10-year lease on its first permanent retail shop at 300 E. 5th St. in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan.
“The business sells uniquely designed canvas pet totes, fashionable fleece hoodies, beds, toys, and other essentials to doting dog and cat owners,” said James Famularo, principal and senior director for Eastern Consolidated, which negotiated the transaction for LoveThyBeast.
The 450-square-foot shop provides another venue for LoveThyBeast to sell its wares. “Retail landlords are primed and ready to make deals,” said Famularo.
