OneWall Scales a $97M Buy of 459-Unit Apartment Complex in Temple Hills
OneWall Communities has completed the $97-million purchase of Heather Hill Apartments, a 459-unit garden-style apartment complex in Temple Hills, MD. The 21-acre value-add property is on Fisher Road, just outside the Capital Beltway, and is comprised of 18 low-rise buildings.
A Transwestern team of Dean Sigmon, Robin Williams, Justin Shay and Michael D’Amelio represented the seller, Hampshire Properties. Joanne Williams and Steven Doherty of CBRE secured the acquisition financing through Fannie Mae.
The acquisition of Heather Hill was completed in partnership with an international institution as a joint venture partner and is part of the OneWall multifamily investment strategy’s focus on transit-oriented workforce housing and lifestyle-oriented suburban communities that offer value-add potential in areas with proximity to major employment centers and unaffordable housing
The firm last summer acquired two suburban multifamily communities totaling 783 units, plus 88 townhomes, in Middle River, MD, 10 miles from downtown Baltimore.
