One Time Fort Worth Corporate Campus Converted to Private School
Southland Holdings, one of the largest heavy civil contractors in the country, has moved its regional headquarters to nearby Grapevine. An unusual tenant has come in to fill the void. E.A Young Academy, a K-12 accredited private school, is moving from its North Richland Hills location into the plush digs in north Forth Worth. The academy signed a 10-year lease on the building, which sits on 2.34 acres.
“Demand has waned for office single-tenant corporate campuses. That trend is driving landlords and occupants to look at these locations in a new light,” said Erik Blais from Bradford Commercial, who represented the landlord.
The transformation is underway on the 23,537 square foot, two-story building in Roanoke. Renovations will be done and completed by the time school starts in the Fall of 2022. The school, which is a College Board AP Capstone Diploma School was founded in 2011. It has 94 students…about eight per class.
