One Santana West Tops Out

The 375,000-square-foot One Santana West, the first phase of an available 1-million-square-foot integrated office campus, has topped out, showcasing its full availability for tenant buildout, according to Federal Realty Investment Trust. The eight-story tower, located across Winchester Boulevard from the Santana Row shopping/dining destination in San Jose, will be the first new Silicon Valley class-A office building to be completed in 2021.

“Our new Santana West building is a unique opportunity for a company to control its environment in a state-of-the-art facility with easy access to the freeway systems and the privately maintained amenity-rich offerings of Santana Row,” said Jan Sweetnam, Western region president of Federal Realty. “One Santana West is the ideal option for companies looking for a fresh start and return to work.”

The news comes on the heels of technology firm NetApp announcing in April 2021 that it will relocate its headquarters to the entire 304,000-square-foot 700 Santana Row office building.

“Our constructive approach to the future of work and our new global headquarters will enable us to create a differentiated work experience that empowers our employees to deliver their best team-based work in a more connected space,” says George Kurian, NetApp CEO.
