One Real Estate Investment Sells Winding Trails as Value-Add Play
One Real Estate Investment of Miami, FL sold the 438-unit, Class B Winding Trails apartment complex in southwest Houston. The 40-year-old apartment complex went to Austin, TX-based GVA Real Estate Group as a value-add strategy.
Joey Rippel, Chris Young and Bailey Crowell with HFF lead the team that marketed and sold the property at 10330 Wilcrest Dr. Additionally, HFF’s Robert Wooten and Michael Johnson spearheaded debt placement on behalf of the new ownership.
Situated on 14 acres, Winding Trails offers one, two and three-bedroom units that average 803 square feet. On-site amenities include a clubhouse and lounge, coffee bar, pool and playground and a courtyard.
“Assets like Winding Trails that have provable value-add potential remain limited in Houston and continue to be a draw for opportunistic buyers,” Rippel said.
