One Gateway Owners Tap JLL to Lease Up Tower

JLL has been tapped by the ownership of One Gateway Center in Newark, NJ as leasing agent on the 543,494-square-foot office property. The firm’s Timothy Greiner, Blake Goodman and Colleen Maguire will work closely with DJ Venn of Onxy Equities, which owns the downtown tower in partnership with Axonic Capital LLC and Taconic Capital Advisors LP.

“One Gateway Center is among the most important office buildings in downtown Newark,” said Greiner. “The property is directly connected to Newark Pennsylvania Station via skybridge, making it a terrific destination for businesses requiring easy access to mass transportation in and out of Manhattan.”

The 26-story One Gateway Center was built in 1971. The current owners have launched a multimillion-dollar capital improvement program for the office building, including significant street level renovations and improvements to its interior concourse walkway. About 132,000 square feet remain available at One Gateway Center.
