One Congress Building in Boston Welcomes K&L Gates as New Tenant
Law firm K&L Gates LLP will be relocating its Boston office in 2023 to One Congress, a one-million-square foot office development owned through a joint venture between Carr Properties and National Real Estate Advisors, LLC, on behalf of its clients. The HYM Investment Group is the lead developer of the project together with Carr Properties.
John Barry, Peter McQuaid and Jeff Landers of CBRE represented One Congress in this transaction. Dave Fitzgerald and Tim Howe of CBRE represented K&L Gates.
One Congress broke ground in 2019 with completion expected in 2022. K&L Gates will occupy two floors and join anchor customer State Street Corporation.
The property provides views of the city, Boston Harbor, the Financial District and the Charles River and is being constructed with sustainable and health-conscious features.
“This is a strong sign of confidence in Boston’s office market,” said Thomas N. O’Brien, managing partner and chief executive officer of The HYM Investment Group.
