Oncology Practice Leases Three Floors at Youngwoo’s Radio Tower

Avison Young arranged a new 35,469-square-foot lease to bring New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS), one of the nation’s leading oncology practices, to Youngwoo & Associates’ Radio Tower, Northern Manhattan’s first high-rise, mixed-use project in 50 years. NYCBS will occupy the full eighth, ninth and eleventh floors at 500 W. 181st St.

An Avison Young team of Marty Cottingham, Michael Gottlieb, Patrick Steffens, Joel Wechsler and Alexis Odgers represented Youngwoo & Associates in the lease, alongside Arthur J. Mirante, II of Savills. Ari Malul of Schuckman Realty represented NYCBS.

“This marquee property in the heart of Washington Heights deserved a high-quality tenant that will bring a significant number of jobs and critical medical services to this vibrant community,” said Cottingham. “Avison Young worked closely with Youngwoo & Associates to find the ideal use for this space and the world-class medical services offered by NYCBS will truly be a game-changer for the area.”
