Omgivning Unveils Plans for Historic DTLA Broadway Trade Center

Waterbridge Capital is breathing new life into an historic DTLA building that was originally constructed in 1908. Located at 801 S. Broadway, the investment team is working with local architect Omgivning to transform the former flagship May Company department store into a 1.1 million-square-foot mixed-use complex.

With 400,000 square feet of office space, commercial space, a boutique 150-room hotel and market collective, the Broadway Trade Center Building will be a one-of-a-kind, pedestrian-friendly community space. Some additional features include: a public park with rooftop terrain, covered pool, urban farm, and a 2-story bar/restaurant.

Permits will be approved in the first quarter of next year, and the construction has an expected completion in 2018.
