Okin BPS Announces HQ Move to San Antonio
Okin Business Processing Services, or Okin BPS, announced plans to relocate its U.S. headquarters to San Antonio, creating 1,400 new jobs in the process. The Prague, Czech Republic firm, which provides technological assistance to companies, plans to invest at least $23 million to set up shop in the Brooks master-planned development on the city’s south side.
The company received a $6.6 million Texas Enterprise Fund Grant for the relocation. Furthermore, a local incentive package will be presented to the San Antonio City Council in November 2018. The Bexar County Commissioners Court is also examining an incentive package.
The decision concluded a two-year search by Okin BPS for its first office outside of Europe, according to a statement issued by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
