OHT to start work on Grand Prairie Apartment project in early 2023

OHT To Build Multifamily Community Just Off I-30 in Grand Prairie

If you like getting to your on-ramp in a hurry, the still-to-be-built Gateway apartments in Grand Prairie may be just for you. A new 400,000 square foot multifamily community on the way in Grand Prairie will be just off Interstate 30 at Stadium Drive. OHT Partners plans to construct four and five-story apartment buildings starting after the first of the year. The $42 million project will open in 2025. Architecture Demarest is designing the rental community.

The Grand Prairie development is just the latest north Texas project by OHT Partners. Earlier this year the builder broke ground on a 270-unit multifamily development in Arlington near the University of Texas at Arlington. And the developer has purchased a building site near the Dallas Galleria on Alpha Road where it plans to construct about 400 units.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is the country’s fastest growing apartment market with more than 56,000 units on the way.
