Ohio MXU Will House Students Ahead of Market-Rate Pre-leasing

Following state Sen. Bill Coley’s announcement of a workforce-education partnership with Miami University Hamilton in Hamilton, OH, approximately 100 of the university’s international students will move into Third + Dayton, Industrial Realty Group’s mixed-use redevelopment.

IRG will renovate three floors of one of downtown Hamilton’s former Ohio Casualty buildings into apartments, and a portion will be used for international student housing. Pre-leasing will begin for market-rate apartments this fall.

“The support we have received from the City of Hamilton and Miami University Hamilton has been tremendous, and, even though redevelopment can take time, we are well on our way to reviving this property,” said IRG’s Justin Lichter.

Other aspects of Third + Dayton continue to advance. IRG and the site’s CBRE leasing team of Bill Schneller and Maggie Lehmkuhl have toured local, regional and national companies through the site, considering space for corporate offices, retail stores and restaurants.

The Connect Apartments Conference will take place June 20, 2019 in Los Angeles. For more information, or to register, click here.
