Offices at Chandler Viridian is Macquarie’s Second Phoenix Buy in Four Months
Macquarie Asset Management completed the purchase of the Offices at Chandler Viridian, a newly built six-story class-A office building in Chandler. This is the second major investment in the Phoenix metro in the last four months by Macquarie Asset Management’s U.S. core/core-plus real estate team on behalf of U.S. real estate mandates. The price was undisclosed.
Last year, it acquired CASA, a newly renovated and fully leased office building located at 7878 N. 16th St. Both of these acquisitions are strong complements to the firm’s existing managed portfolio which includes properties in Scottsdale and Tempe.
“Leasing momentum has been outstanding since the Offices at Chandler Viridian opened and the Chandler submarket continues to attract a broad spectrum of tenants, which is one of the key reasons that this asset appealed to us,” said Christopher Quiett, managing director, Macquarie Asset Management.
