Office/Retail Now 50% Leased at Upcoming Coney Island MXU
626 Sheepshead Bay Rd., the office and retail center within the Neptune/Sixth mixed-use project under development by Cammeby’s, is now 50% leased a few months ahead of its scheduled completion. Among the notable tenants at the 161,000-square-foot property is mortgage lender Hartford Financial Services. Just two storefronts remain available in the building’s retail base.
“This building is clearly meeting a need for modern commercial and retail space in Coney Island, and we are proud to have been at the forefront of identifying this opportunity and addressing the demand,” said Jacob Cohen, EVP of development at Cammeby’s.
Neptune/Sixth will also encompass a mixed-use retail and residential building at 532 Neptune Ave., currently under development. The project has spurred other developers to announce plans for mixed-use developments in South Brooklyn.
