Office Asset Trio Trades for $77 Million

San Diego-based Casey Brown Co. acquired a three-property office portfolio in San Diego from Newport Beach, CA-based Peregrine Realty Properties for $76.95 million. The properties, which total 328,943 square feet, are in Kearny Mesa, Mission Valley and Old Town.

Casey Brown’s John Kenney said the assets are “located in thriving submarkets and are well-leased to a diversified and prominent tenant roster.” He said they will be “initiating an extensive capital improvement and rebranding effort over the coming months.”

Assets include:

  • Valley Corporate Center, 591 Camino De La Reina, 12 stories, 176,132 square feet
  • Chesapeake Park Plaza, 9665 Chesapeake Dr., 92,321 square feet
  • Old Town Plaza, 2251 San Diego Ave., two-building, 60,490-square-foot creative-office

CBRE’s Louay Alsadek and Hunter Rowe represented the seller on Chesapeake Park Plaza and Valley Corporate Center. NAI San Diego’s Josh Buchholz, Doug Ceresia and Matt Midura represented the seller on Old Town Plaza.
