Odyssey Residential Sells 156-Unit Azure

Odyssey Residential Holdings LP ended its four-year hold on the Azure, a 156-unit multifamily apartment in Midland, TX. The Dallas-headquartered Odyssey, which also developed the 100%-occupied property at 1201 Albert Ave., sold it to an undisclosed buyer.

Bart Wickard, Brian Murphy, Brian O’Boyle Jr. and Matt Wideman with Newmark Knight Frank’s Dallas office represented the seller. “The sale required the successful identification of a buyer able to complete a loan assumption through Freddie Mac and TDHCA (Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs),” Wickard said.

The Azure opened in 2015, and offers one, two and three-bedroom apartment homes, ranging from 763 to 1,311 square feet. On-site amenities include a business and fitness center, media room and resort-style pool.
