Oceus Networks Extends North Texas Leases

Broadband solutions company Oceus Networks Inc. extended leases for its corporate office in Legacy Town Center III, 5801 Tennyson Pkwy. in Plano, TX; and its operations center at Cascades at The Colony, 5916 Stone Creek Dr. in The Colony, TX. Steve Thelen and Scott Hage with JLL negotiated the lease extensions on behalf of the tenant.

CBRE’s Dennis Barnes, Alexandra Cullins and Jackie Marshall represented Legacy Town Center’s ownership, KBS, in extending the 10,142-square-foot space. Meanwhile, Cascades by Windsor 1 LLC was represented by Transwestern’s Nathan Durham and Joe Whitmer in the 15,574-square-foot lease extension.

JLL’s recent Tech Office Trends report notes a significant uptick in tech industry job gains in the metroplex over the past five years. The report also lists Dallas-Fort Worth as one of the nation’s top 10 tech labor markets.
